Coeur Connections

coeur:  heart

Coeur Connections seeks to prevent cycles of trauma by providing

education, mentorship, and support focused on safe, healing

relationships to families both in and outside of the foster care system

as we work toward a future where fewer children need to be placed into

the foster care system.

This team is filled with passionate individuals who want to see the

community finding healing through various methods including

Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Making Sense of Your Worth

and Parenting for Positive Self Worth.

Connection is at the heart of what we do.

Making Sense of Your Worth

This is an 8-week class designed for any individual desiring to obtain

positive self-worth & secure attachment.

Participants will go through a series of sessions in a group format designed to help them understand how the events in their lives have contributed to low self-worth. The classes focus on developing an understanding of the “lies” an individual believes about themselves, such as “I am not good enough,” or “I am not smart enough,” or “I have no patience” and how to replace these lies with truth. In addition, once a participant is released from the beliefs associated with the past, the sessions focus on rebuilding a new life based on positive self-worth as well as how to maintain these gains.

Developed by Cindy Lee @ The Halo Project

The cost of this program is $35 per session.

There are 8-two hour sessions with each session being once a week. If the cost is prohibitive to your participation, scholarships are available. VOH will not turn a participant away due to inability to pay.
